One thing I really liked about this hotel was the beautiful and cozy decor. It reminded me of my own home, with warm colors and comfortable furniture. It made me feel instantly at ease and relaxed. The general areas of the hotel, like the lobby and lounge, were also very inviting and well-maintained. As a senior woman, I felt very comfortable navigating through the hotel, as there were no stairs to worry about and everything was easily accessible. It was a relief to not have to worry about climbing up and down stairs with my luggage or while exploring the hotel.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. While they were friendly, there were times when I felt like they could have been more considerate of the needs of older guests.

I recently stayed at Hotel De Blauwe Vogel for a weekend getaway. The hotel was surprisingly quiet despite its location near a bustling restaurant/bar and train station. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was impressive. The room, although slightly outdated, was clean and spacious with a small living room and kitchen. The hotel's proximity to the train station and the town center made exploring Bergen op Zoom convenient. a great stay!
